Artist Statement:

        These are photographs from a short collabrative work between myself and fellow photographer Brandon Zierer. This work was part of an assignment for an intermediate photography course. Brandon provided me with 15 sound bites each aproximately 10 seconds in length. After listening to the sounds, I was asked to generate five images that I thought best represented the scene depicted in the sounds. 

        Brandon's sound bites included clips of songs, laughter, immitations of songs, and a couple discussing the music. In my years of photographing, I've learned that music has a unique way of bringing people together. Wither this be for collabrative creation, viewing, dancing, discussing, or simply enjoyment.
